The Season of Blue was an exciting summer showcase of artists and jewelers at Patina Gallery. We shot three distinct sessions to prepare for the summer season: Faster than Blue, Season of Blue, and Infinite Blue. Each photo shoot had a unique expression and style to create enticing promotional material.
Faster than Blue was for world renowned car photographer Michael Furman and esteemed jeweler Erich Zimmermann. We chose to photograph with a rare blue Porsche 911 and with gold jewelry to complement the blue of the vehicle. Season of Blue was the namesake show with a diverse mix of jewelers, such as Claire Kahn, Barbara Heinrich, and Petra Class. The tone was meant to echo ideas of Picasso’s blue period moving into his rose period. Infinite Blue was our summer clincher with Peter Schmid – Atelier Zobel coming from Germany. We chose to have the azure sky of NM and the varied blue hues of water be the backdrop for his jewelry.

Showcasing my own expression of timing, movement, color grading, framing, sound design, and storytelling within the context of a short form advertisement.
