I spent my early life playing in the wildernesses of South Carolina, from the black water swamps and live oaks to the sand hills and pine scrub. These landscapes shaped the way I see and interact with the world. But in 1999 a summer vacation left me in love with the vast openness of the land and the amazing skies of New Mexico.
I moved to Albuquerque in 2005 to attend UNM as a physics major. Through three years of school and many twists and turns, I left the university to re-evaluate my direction in life. I moved to Santa Fe in 2008 and in 2014, after many life changes, I graduated from the Santa Fe University of Art and Design with a BFA in Graphic Design. In the program I developed a keen sense of form, rhythm, texture, contrast, and color.
After graduating from SFUAD, I used my skills to support Santa Fe Jewelers Supply. I completed product photography of their extensive inventory and then stepped into the role of project manager to bring their website into completion. After training my replacements in early 2019 I parted ways to focus on my own photography and graphic design. There were many ups and downs, so when the opportunity to become Patina Gallery's Head of Photography arose, I leapt at the chance. I continued to grow with my skills in videography, high end jewelry photography, model photography, and work load management.
